I make sure to provide a large gallery of photographs to represent the wedding/elopement gathering fully. With the style that I photograph, I make sure to photograph everyone in attendance, and I do not feel that it is my place to judge which photos you may like and want to share with friends and family. I want to make sure that you have plenty of photos to share and look back on, that no hug or connection is not captured.

Yes, I do require a deposit so that you can secure the day. I send over a contract as well. If you need a payment plan, I am happy to discuss this with you.

Documentary style to me means that I am a fly on the wall through out the day. I am capturing the hugs, the emotions that are vulnerable, the kids running around and being silly. I am capturing the conversations with your friends and family.

I do! I will pose you for couple's photos, the individual portraits, the family group photos. If there are specific poses that you want or prompts please let me know, I love trying out new styles and poses!

Nope, but I reccomend it. It gives us a chance to get used to each other, and for you to get used to me photographing you and with you as a couple. I believe that it also allows for us to warm up to each other and get to know each other better, which allows for more intimate and genuine photos of your love and gathering.

If you do not want an engagement session, the cost of the photography is reduced.

I do not charge a travel fee for weddings/engagement and events that are less than an hour and a half drive from Asheville, NC. The cost of the travel fee is determined by the number of hours driving, and if lodging is necessary. What is included in the travel fee is cost of gas and lodging (if lodging is necessary)

You will receive a sneak peak within two weeks from the day of shooting. The full gallery will be delivered 4-6 weeks after the day of shooting. 85% of the time it is before 6 weeks :)

Non-traditional for me means not getting married at a formal venue that you had to book far in advanced. If you are getting married or having the ceremony/gathering/elopement at a park, backyard, on top of a mountain, at a retreat center, that counts as non-traditional for me. If you have already gotten married, and are having a gathering with friends and family a year or a couple of months after, that counts as non-traditional for me and I absolutely love these settings!
